Animals which feed on Dehydrated Alfalfa

DEHYDRATED ALFALFA BALES
  • This feed is recommended for high-yielding DAIRY COWS. Because the long fibre is retained, it is a bulk feed, and represents a substitute for sun-dried Alfalfa Hay.
  • A daily ration of 6-8 kg. per animal is recommended, depending on the rest of the diet and the milk yield.
DEHYDRATED ALFALFA CUBES
  • The cubes are of considerable value for both stabled and extensively-grazed fattening stock. At the same time this feed helps prevent the outbreak of disease.
  • It is irreplaceable during the summer months, when it may be distributed directly onto the ground.
  • A daily ration of 6-7 kg. per animal is recommended.
  • Its performance is ouststanding when used as a basic feedstuff for fighting bulls.
  • It may also be fed to deer and ostriches.
DEHYDRATED ALFALFA PELLETS
  • Due to the size and properties of the pellets, they are recommended for the diets of SHEEP and GOATS. They are a high-protein supplement to grazing.
  • A daily ration of up to 2-3 kg. per animal may be administered.
  • The pellets are also fed to pigs, increasing fertility rates and protecting sows from diseases. Up to 10/20 alfalfa pellets may be included in the diet.
  • They are also used an ingredient in compound feeds for poultry, improving the pigmentation of the meat and giving the egg yolks a better colour.
